Mommy always used to give out about mothers who kept trying to console their little ones when they were upset about staying @ Kita and not wanting their mommy to go. She said it’s much better to just go.

This morning she thought differently when I was lying on the floor crying after she said goodbye. She came back to pick me up and give me a cuddle and I reckon she was not amused when Angela tweeted that mommy better go now.

I hadh had a very bad night with lots of coughing and a blocked nose so this morning I found it hard to let mommy go. We got playing with the other kids but then there was no adult around to keep me occupied while mommy left so of course I stopped playing and ran after her.

In the end mommy gave me to Kerstin even though I ws trying to cling on to her as tight as possible. I didn’t cry for very long cause, after all, I like Kita.

16.10.

I was in bed @ 7 and didn’t sleep till 9. I guess everything was too exciting. I woke up @ half 12 as well and was very upset when Oma came to try and calm me down. Only mommy managed and it still took me almost 2 hours to go back to sleep. I was up and ready to go @ 6.14. Mommy and daddy went to have brunch with daddy’s friends and I played with the grandparents till lunchtime. Then we headed home and I only slept a little while.

When we got back we went to have cake @ Uromas and Oma Tina and Opa Günther were there as well, which was nice!

15.10.

After breakfast I went to the zoo with Oma and Opa and we saw some tiny baby elephants! There were penguins and other animals as well. It was all very exciting and when we got back I slept for 2 hours straight. In the afternoon we went to 2 playgrounds and when we got home mommy and daddy were back as well.

This morning we headed off to see Oma and Opa in Halle. I didn’t sleep at all in the car and found it hard to stay in my seat all the time. But with songs and digger-spotting we managed.

Oma was still @work when we arrived so we had lunch with Opa and then I had a sleep. When I woke up, Oma was there as well and we went to the playground together.

Mommy and I had a nice + easy morning today. Kita is closed today and tomorrow so we are just taking it easy. I’m beeing very good – well, most of the time anyways. Mommy has been wanting to go out for a while but I don’t wanna put on my tights so we are not going anywhere.  But Mommy doesn’t mind. We have time.

This morning we went to the Agnes Neuhaus Café for brunch. I had lots of fun even though there were no other kids to play with. Ur-Oma was there and she looked @ some books with me and then daddy played with me and mommy went on the little horsies with me. And I got to have hot chocolate!

When we got home mommy was getting the bed ready for me and I said to her „nein fafe“, „Feya nein fafe mommy!“ And just to make sure to she agreed I nodded my head and said „Ja?“ But she wasn’t convinced and said I needed to sleep to be fit for going to see Luanne later.

I’ve been in bed for half an hour now, but am not sleeping at all! I’m doing everything but! Putting water from my bottle everywhere, taking off my pajamas and calling mommy and daddy in turn.

Last night was the first night I slept in a big girls bed. That means there was no bars on it. Daddy took them off yesterday. I had slept with two bars off before, so I could have gotten out of bed but didn’t but now they are gone completely and the first night I stayed in bed so mommy and daddy were very proud of me. I just fell out once. Hopefully that won’t happen again!

This morning we went to a kite festival @ Elisabethaue not far from where we live. We met Luanne there with her parents, uncles, aunties and cousins. There was a tractor there and I got to have a go on it. Mommy went with me cause I was a bit scared. But just a little bit!

23.09.

Today Oma Tina and Opa Günther picked me up from Kita and we played all afternoon! Mommy came home too but she want to have a lie down cause she wasn’t feeling well. In the meantime, Oma Tina taught me my first two words with 3 syllables: Papagei and Ananas. Actually I say Pa-pa-dei, but mommy thinks it’s so cute that she makes me say it over and over like a parrot.

Today is a Bank Holiday in Ireland and mommy says that’s why the weather is shite. We spent the morning at home where mum and dad fixed the dishwasher and we played in the tent and then we went to the playground for a bit and had mashed potato with peas and fish fingers and fishy sausages for lunch before I went to bed again. I feel I’m going to bed a lot when I read back over this, but mum and dad say I need the sleep. And usually they are right………..
In the afternoon we went on a bus!!!!!!!!! When mummy said it I got so excited and was VERY well behaved going to the bus stop and waiting with mommy and daddy. When we got on the bus we went upstairs and to the front and I sat up on the seat and held mummy’s and daddy’s hand and stared out the fron window waiting. After a few minutes the bus started moving and it was so cool! I was looking out the window all the time until we got off the bus. Then we walked around a bit and got the bus back. On the way I found money on the ground and held onto it until we got on the bus and then mummy let me throw it in the slot where she had put all the money for the bus driver. The bus driver smiled at me then and we went upstairs again. Back at home we had to head straight back out again because we were meeting aunts Zozo and uncle Michael for dinner at the pub. I got to have sausages and fries and I ate so much that everyone thought I was gonna be sick. But this time they were wrong! I had a great time running round the pub with Michael and looking through all the stuff in  aunts Zozo’s wallet. Then we said goodbye and this time I went to sleep after „only“ an hour and mom did have to come into me a few times, but only until 11; after that I slept through till 8 so mummy and daddy got lots of sleep as well this time.

Mommy looked in the window cause she didn’t have a key when she came back and could see Dady and me playing on the sofa. We were very happy to see her and after telling each other how our night was, we all went to the park nearby with the buggy. We played lots of games there, most of them involving the ball or mommy or daddy lifting me up in the air which I thought was great fun! On the way back we went to the new cafe right around the corner from the house where we had cake and milk and coffee. I didn’t‘ the like my apple pie and instead ate mommy’s chocolate fudge cake. Mommy told me that uncle Uwe is coming over today on the aeroplane and when I saw a picture of a plane later, I said „Uwe“. Except that uncle Uwe called soon after and told us that his flight from Stuttgart had been cancelled because another airplane had come off the runway and now there were no flights going at all! Uwe was very sad and so were we, but mum called the airline and at least got him on a flight over here on Wednesday. There were no others at all and the ones from Munich and Frankfurt were completely booked already. He is going back home on Saturday so he won’t even have much time over here.
When I woke up after my lunchtime nap we went to the shopping centre in Liffey Valley. There was lots to see; bright lights and lots of clothes and things. Mommy and daddy bought a few things for me and then I got to ride on a little train that goes around the shopping centre. It was very exciting and mommy and daddy walked beside me  and took pictures. There was another girl beside me in the carriage with her mom and she was a bit smaller than me so I helped look after her and patted the seat beside me to get her to sit down.
In the evening I found it very difficult to go to sleep; it had just all been too much I think. It took me two hours and mummy’s last nerve to finally make it. And then she had to come in to me loads of times at night cause I kept waking up crying. So we all had a bit of a rough night again.
